Marcel Wanders is one of the leading product and interior designers of the world with thousands of iconic projects under his name. With projects ranging from architecture, interior or industrial design, Marcel is quite a versatile designer. With several exquisite Hospitality and Residential projects all around the world, Wanders stands out as a renown designer known for mixing color, art, passion, craftsmanship and glass designs.

Marcel Wanders grew up in Boxtel, the Netherlands, and graduated from the School of the Arts Arnhem in 1988. It was there that he began to form his philosophy on design, more focused on people than things. “You don’t design for industry, but for individuals,” he says. And with that he crosses boundaries with a distinct style and originality.

Marcel Wanders’ fame started with his iconic Knotted Chair, which he produced for Droog Design in 1996.
